At the AV Homes Encore at Eastmark Community Center, Studio Dwell selected a combination of the Axolight Layers collection of pendants in the Entry and Great Room. Within the space, the pendants flank the Hot Rolled Steel fireplace with organic lumber accents, as a juxtaposed element to soften the industrial feel of this focal point feature. The overall scale is appropriate, as there is a compound slope ceiling, with a volume of about 22 feet in height. The textural fabric with striped see-through segments gives a sense of feeling very light and airy- like floating lanterns. The white fabric provides a crisp contrast off the wood ceiling, and steel fireplace. These pendants, as all flush mount ceiling lights, wall sconces, contemporary pendant lights of Axolight, are a great complement to the overall design aesthetic.
